The whole history of the company since its foundation in 2009 until 2020 with all special events included.
2009
December – Foundation of Sirius-ES Austria by Christopher Jahn, Wolfgang Matussek and Alexander Buchner.
First office, warehouse and laboratory near Wels.
Successful first project – Haidach reservoir with the company RAG Rohöl-Aufsuchungs AG.
2010
Two compact units were specially designed and equipped according to the requirements and wishes of Sirius-ES.
Two fully equipped laboratory containers were purchased.
Deep drilling projects in Bayer and Austria were supervised.
2011
November – Certificate for the management system according to SCC*:2007
Successful support of geothermal project in Bavaria
2012
Oil, gas and geothermal projects in Germany, Austria and Hungary.
So far deepest drilling project with over 5400m.
2013
March – Foundation of Sirius-ES Deutschland GmbH with office in Celle. At the same time, the acquisition of the Baker Hughes Germany mud department including six employees, two compact units and two laboratory containers took place.
June – Relocation of Sirius-ES Austria to the new office in Wels. Support of drilling operations additionally in Holland, Switzerland, Poland and Serbia.
October – Certificate for the management system according to SCCp:2011 and certificate for the management system according to EN ISO 9001:2008 elaborated.
2014
April– Engineering-Meeting in Celle at Sirius-ES Deutschland.
September – First application of NAF (Non Aqueous Fluid) at a drilling project in Romania.
Market expansion Romania and Ukraine.
Extra storing places in Germany and Romania.
2015
One year contract with S.N.G.N. Romgaz S.A. Medias in Romania for Workover and Completion.
February – Founding of Sirius-ES RO SRL in Romania with office in Bucharest.
April – Publication in the magazine “The Prospector – Spring 2015”, which you can find at www.prospertere.com
August / September – Two-week training for the drilling staff concerning the drilling mud.
September – Start of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research project ThermoDrill.
2015
Market expansion – Belgium and France.
Projects in – Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine.
2016
January to December – Working on the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research project ThermoDrill in close cooperation with European companies and universities.
2016
ISO certification according to the latest EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and SCCp:2011 recertification.
November – QHSE-Day in Celle.
Market expansion – Finland, Croatia, Sweden and Turkey.
Projects in – Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Croatia and Sweden.
Successful introduction of Pure Bore® in the German drilling fluid market.
2017
January to December – Proceeding with the research project named ThermoDrill.
February – QHSE-Day in Celle. Creation of a new company flyer.
May – Sirius-ES was invited to perform a three-day drilling fluid seminar at Angers facilities.
October – Successful monitoring audit of EN ISO 9001:2015 and SCCp:2011.
2017
November – Attendance at the ATC Annual Technical Conference in Islamabad (Pakistan) with our partner Gemstone Oil tools and Engineering Services.
Market expansion – Denmark and Pakistan.
Projects in – Austria, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Netherlands.
Successful introduction of Pure Bore® in the Netherlands drilling fluid market.
2018
January to December – Proceeding research project ThermoDrill.
February – Founding of Sirius Gemstone e.s. Drilling Fluids in Pakistan with office in Islamabad.
March – Booth at the Geothermal Conference in Offenburg together with ThermoDrill.
December – Attendance at the ATC Annual Technical Conference in Islamabad (Pakistan) with our partner Gemstone Oil tools and Engineering Services.

January – Since the beginning of 2020
Sirius-ES Deutschland GmbH established a HDD business line which is offering the full package of products and services for drilling applications for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and other trenchless technologies.
March – Membership at GTÖ Geothermie Österreich.
November – Start of the geothermal project Rupertiwinkel in Germany.
