To achieve the best results in every soil formation, Sirius-ES offers various types of fluids. The following list shows an excerpt of our available rinsing systems. The most commonly used is water alkaline rinse. In addition, we can provide products for completion, Invert Emulsion or Low Tox OBM.

- Test Kits - The test kit reliably measures the volume fraction of sand particles in drilling fluids according to standards – quickly and precisely.

Weighting agent
Weighting agents increase the weight of water-based and invert-emulsion drilling fluid systems to control formation pressure, prevent formation gouging, and use weighted pills for different applications.

Salts
The different salts are used for different purposes in drilling fluids, e.g. as a solids-free weighting agent and for clay inhibition by potassium ions.

Alkalinity
Alkalinity is one of the most important chemical properties of drilling fluids and can be controlled with the listed materials. The alkalinity of the total drilling fluid and the API filtrate is important in many drilling operations to ensure drilling fluid properties.

Lubricants
Lubricants reduce the friction coefficient, torque and sliding resistance of the BHA and are used in drilling fluids for wells with high deviation and large lateral extent.

Clay inhibitors & coatings
Clay-inhibiting and coating products are designed for use in saltwater or freshwater drilling fluid systems. They reduce many problems caused by gumbo-like clay and improve the integrity of the drill cuttings.

Flocculants
Flocculants promote the agglomeration of fine solids to facilitate settling and removal from the fluid system. Flocculants are used to flocculate clays and colloidal solids or to help remove fines from the mud system and reduce dilution rates.

Thinners and dispersants change the relationship between viscosity and solids content in drilling fluids.

Defoamers
Defoamers control foam formation by reducing surface tension and support the breakdown of bubbles in the liquid.

Viscosifiers & Fluid Loss Reducers
Viscosifiers create the carrying capacity, suspension capacity, and gelatin properties in drilling fluids. These products provide the drilling fluid with its basic rheological properties. These properties can be enhanced with other additives to provide an optimal technical solution for each individual drilling situation.

Borehole stabilizer
For borehole stabilization, specially formulated products are used that support the consolidation of borehole walls (e.g. protection of soft clay deposits, prevention of spalling and leaching, etc.), create lower permeabilities due to their sealing properties, and prevent the propagation of formation weaknesses.

Corrosion inhibitors
For the preservation of water-based liquids and technical emulsions. Suitable for controlling corrosion caused by H₂S, carbon dioxide, and dissolved salts.

Pipe Freeing Agents
Designed for easy and quick mixing of spotting fluids that dewater the filter cake and lubricate the surface between the pipe and the borehole.

Biostabilizers
Protects water-based drilling and completion fluids against bacterial influences.

Scavengers
Contains organic H₂S and oxygen scavengers.

Lost Circulation
Sirius-ES offers a wide range of proven lost circulation materials (LCMs). These include basic LCMs ranging from granules, flakes, and fibers to specially developed blends for various LCMs.
Geothermal Innovation
Sirius-ES specializes in deep drilling and is therefore in demand for all types of geothermal projects. Our innovative approach also qualifies us for major European research projects, such as the Horizon 2020 project ThermoDrill.
